A Local, Commercial Remodel
As much as we love residential renovation, it’s just as exciting to showcase a facelift of a commercial space for a local small business. When we originally walked through this dull, drab office building, it was difficult to see past the outdated design and imagine something fresh and inviting. Overall, it had the right layout and good bones, but definitely wasn’t ready to give the customers of Rocktown Beauty & Wellness the luxurious self-care experience they deserve. We began working closely with the Rocktown Beauty & Wellness team to come up with a design that would have the look and feel they wanted, while also making sure the space was fully functional as the business grows.
Out With the Old, & In With the New
First things first, we removed the dingy 1970s carpet and gutted the outdated bathroom. We replaced the carpet with a beautiful chevron wood floor, which gave the space the modern and luxurious feel we were looking to achieve. The bathroom was previously an eyesore, so we knew updating it would contribute to the space feeling fresh. The Rocktown Beauty & Wellness team worked with their brand and marketing specialist to select a color palette for the space, including a deep, royal blue, fresh whites, warm wood and leather, and gold accents. We assisted their team in finding paint that matched their brand colors. Then, they added gold accents throughout the entire spa, including the focal wall behind the front desk, which is also a golden chevron pattern. The chevron ties into the pattern of the wood floors and the mountains on their logo. The small details of their renovation add tremendous life and character to the beauty spa.
A Modern, Fresh, & Luxurious Renovation
When you enter the Rocktown Beauty & Wellness, you’re greeted with a doormat that reads, “This is our happy place.” The staff shares, “We want to make people feel good on the inside and the outside. This is our happy place and we want it to be our clients’ happy place as well.” Walking into the beauty spa today, you’d never know that you’re standing in a space that was previously a dark and outdated office building. We’ve brought a new, clean, and modern feeling to this space through a bold and luxe design. A business that celebrates self-care and beauty should definitely have a space that reflects that sentiment. Today we can confidently say that Rocktown Beauty & Wellness is the fresh, modern, and inspiring place that we were hoping to create through this remodel.
