Falling in Love with their Home Again
Starting with the Basics
You should be able to love every part of your house, both the inside and out. The owners of this house loved the interior of their home, but were no longer charmed by the exterior. While the inside exuded warmth and personal touches, the outside didn’t align with their style and they felt it was time for a refresh. Just like our other projects, the aim of this renovation was to make every inch distinctly theirs.
The first phase of this project ushered in a contemporary vibe through the installation of sleek siding, a striking new front door and custom woodworking that served as the canvas for a modern masterpiece. This laid the groundwork for the aesthetic updates that would breathe life into their vision.
Tying It All Together
With all of the structural elements secured, we started to bring our vision for a modern exterior to life. We began by coating the fiber cement siding in a sleek black, instantly infusing the home with a striking modern aesthetic. This bold design choice set the tone for the entire transformation, radiating contemporary elegance. Building upon this cornerstone, we carefully stained the deck beams and the new tongue and groove porch ceiling, creating a rich complement to the garage door and roof. We also introduced copper-colored gutters and a cedar design on the front roof gable that seamlessly blended with the newly stained beams. To enhance the outdoor experience, we strategically placed new exterior lights, creating a warm ambiance as dusk settles, inviting the owners and their guests to linger in the beauty of their revitalized home. With each carefully chosen detail, the exterior now stands as a reflection of the owners' style and a testament to the belief that you should truly enjoy every inch of your space.
