Dayton Master Bathroom Expansion

Taking Big, Bold Steps

We love when a renovation project allows us to take big, bold steps!  In this bathroom, we were faced with angled walls that blocked the flow of the room.  We removed an outdated soaking tub.  We expanded the shower area.  We removed a wall near the toilet.  We even relocated a window and had to match the exterior siding.

With the big pieces out of the way, we could focus on the design elements that would make this space unique.  The shower incorporates river stone throughout to create a lived-in, natural feel.  The backsplash over the vanity uses actual tile.  We installed a large makeup bench to take advantage of an unusually-shaped space near the door.

From the largest steps to the finest details, we enjoyed giving this farmhouse bathroom new life.
